Biography of Cheba Zahouania

Cheba Zahouania, born Halima Mazzi 1959 in Oran (Algeria), is an algerian Raï music singer.

Cheba Zahouania met success with titles ''Kahli ya Khali'' (Uncle, uncle) and ''El Barraka'' (Shed) featured with Cheb Hasni.
After assassination of Cheb Hasni, Cheba Zahounia flew to France where she keep recording Raï tracks which made her one of the famous raï performers and earned her a title of Princess of Traditional and Modern Raï music.
