Abdelaziz Stati was well-appreciated for the Aita style he excel s indeed. Stati owes his nickname to the fact that his left hand he often makes evident while he plays traditional violin, is six-fingered.

Stati's orchestra is composed of classical female singers and dancers called Cheikhat.
